Our interns' experiences

Dr. Ricard Valdés (2012-2015)

"My experience at DARYD could fill an entire book. However, if I had to highlight something really important then I would say that besides allowing me to train as an anaesthesiologist, this Department was like my second family for four years. Here, I have matured as a professional and as a person, and have had unforgettable moments. My colleagues at the DARYD, whom I also admire and respect very deeply, will remain in my heart forever. I would like to thank everyone for helping me in such an important stage in my life."

Dr. Núria Carbonell (2011-2014)

"Being an intern in the Department of Anaesthesiology, Resuscitation and Pain Treatment at the Hospital Universitario Quirón Dexeus is a unique experience that only one person can enjoy every year. It offers you the possibility of joining a multidisciplinary team of professionals who will help you to make the most of the opportunity.

Over a period of four years, you have everything that Anaesthesia has to offer you, and are permanently mentored by a totally-committed teaching team. From the outset, you feel that you are part of the team. Team members share a great many things things in their day-to-day work, and of course, the odd evening or night as well. For all these reasons, it is a setting that will help the intern to become an excellent specialist.

It is a different and unique experience."

Dr. Ainhoa Sorolla (2009-2013)

My experience as an intern at this hospital was very good. Four years of hard work and dedication to the specialty, in the course of which I learned how to handle the different pre-, intra-and post operative stages with the patient and gleaned the necessary skills to perform many of the different techniques involved in anaesthesiology. Over this training period I grew as a person and as a professional thanks to the help and the guidance of all the departmental members.
